boto acai

One of the perks of having my Tuesdays off is that I get to go explore the city without having to deal with the crowds of people you usually have to infiltrate through on a typical weekend in Seoul. It’s been awhile since I went to Garosugil, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to grab lunch with friends and stroll around the area. After taking care of some serious girl business, aka shopping, we decided to replenish our bodies with some acai bowls.

Boto Acai has definitely calmed down compared to when it first made its debut. If you were to come here one year ago, you were bound to be welcomed by a long line of customers. Find an empty seat, then you hit the jackpot.

Put simply, an acai bowl is similar to a thick smoothie topped off with granola, fruits, and sometimes peanut butter. I feel like they sprinkle every sort of fruit you can think of on along with the granola-strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cranberries, dragon fruit, coconut flakes, goji berries, green grapes, chia seeds, pineapples, cacao nibs.
