Seoul, the capital of food, food, food. With so many new restaurants and cafes starting up, it’s critical for these places to have their own flair and style that distinguishes them from the 2879500 of other stores out there. And that requires creativity-even with ice cream.
Sobok is a Korean ice cream shop in Hongdae that was featured in Tasty Road. Sobok uses all-natural ingredients and its aim is to create a healthy dessert culture.
I loved the all-white, simple and minimalist interior look the place had.
A close up shot of the deliciousness. The ice cream is made up of different grains and they top it off with sunflower seeds, glazed pumpkin bits, 인절미 rice cake, and a variety of nuts. The round ball is rice cake, but there’s a layer of ice inside that surrounds the rice cake. It easily melts in your mouth andIi loved it! I don’t think the flower is edible..but don’t take my word for it, you can try for yourself (:
It’s definitely a unique flavor for an ice cream and very Korean, but I would highly recommend!
